It all started..with a single apple seed that held the will to survive. A nuclear war left the entire plant destroyed, absolutely nothing survived. Nothing, except this tiny, lonely apple seed. Through the course of ten million years the planet went through major geographical changes and a lot of natural disasters in an attempt to restore its balance and begin life again. The seed remained dormant deep under ground during all that time, and once the Earth was able to withstand life, it somehow began to grow. It grew until it seemed to reached the boundaries of the atmosphere, covering an area the size of Greenland in its canopy.
After the apple seed seemed to stop growing more plants were born from it. Some were the same plants that had lived on this planet before but many of them were new species. It had been another million years before the entire planet was covered in plant life. The oxygen levels were now higher than they ever had been in the Earth's entire life. It was then that something amazing happened. Some of the plants evolved and were now able to move! These strange creatures were mostly green and were all able to produce their own food through photosynthesis. They then began to develop personalities and were stimulated by each other. The plants had evolved into something new, they were no longer plants yet they weren't animals either. These strange creatures were a highly advanced form of the Protista Kingdom that the planet once gave life to.
Slowly life began to return to the Earth. Now all we can really do is watch, wait, and see what happens.
